We are off to a GREAT start in Physical Education this fall of 2026! The students have already learned about and practiced a variety of activities including soccer, volleyball, scooter games, gymnastics, bowling, catching & throwing games, football, locomotor skills, personal space, tag games and more! I'm also excited about several new pieces of equipment we have including a bowling ramp, giant balloons and ride ons.

An exciting addition this year is our Adapted PE classes. Our district offered Adapted PE years ago, but then we didn't have it for several years. This year Adapted PE is back and better than ever! Special Education students have their own class time which is tailored to fit their needs and give them the attention they deserve. Special Education students are also able to join in with general education PE classes whenever possible. Through our SUNS program, we incorporated reverse inclusion which involves general education students working one-on-one to assist special education students.
